Your players know what they want and lengthy descriptions of landscapes is not it. You're not George R. R. Martin as much as you would like to think you are. Such is the case for the verbose DM with plenty of descriptions. It is a sad and bemoanable state. You can always console yourself knowing that the descriptions in the module you write will be read by other DMs who will sigh to themselves and truncate them to the succinctest text possible for players just like yours.
